Delaware County Community College
The Office of Business Development at Delaware County
Community College has been serving the education and training needs of business
and industry, government agencies and non-profit organizations in Delaware and
Chester Counties for more than 20 years. The Office manages on-site associate
degree, certification, as well as customized training programs in all areas of
business operations, technical skills and information technology that are both
high quality and cost-effective.
The mission of Delaware County Community College includes
quality, access, flexibility, and affordability. All Delaware County Community
College programs are competency based and only those who have mastered the
required competency levels receive credit or certification from Delaware County
Community College.
The Office of Business Development is designed to help area
employers increase productivity, retain quality employees and maintain a
competitive edge by providing them with training and education programs. OBD
contracts with businesses, school districts, unions, agencies and other
organizations in Delaware and Chester Counties to deliver everything from
non-credit, one-day workshops to on-site associate degree programs.
Training topics include but are not limited to:
- Business development
- Technical training
- Information technology training
- Professional certification
- Emergency management and planning
- Foundation skills
- Leadership development
- Associate Degree programs
Customized training is both beneficial and accommodating to
your company because DCCC offers flexible scheduling, a cost-effective
process, and a variety of competency-based curriculums. Courses can be
offered at any one of our campuses in Delaware and Chester County, on-site at an
employer’s facility, or through distance learning and Web-based education.
